First Time in NYC: RiN! Studio at Stationery Fest 2026

We're going to NYC!

RiN! Studio is heading to its first-ever New York event: Welcome to New York! Stationery Fest at Industry City, Brooklyn — July 30 to August 1, 2026. Three full days of kawaii stationery, journaling community, and a New York-shaped surprise we've been working on for months.

The Event

Stationery Fest is one of the biggest gatherings of independent stationery makers and lovers in the US. For three days, Industry City transforms into a paper-and-ink wonderland — washi tape, planners, pens, stickers, journals, and the people who design them, all in one place. It's the kind of place where you can meet the artist behind your favorite tape, swap ideas with other journalers, and walk away with a tote bag full of new finds.

For RiN! Studio, this is a huge first. We've been designing kawaii stationery from our Shanghai studio since 2019, and we've shipped orders to almost every US state. But we've never had a chance to meet our US customers face to face. Until now.

NYC-Exclusive Collection — Designed Just for the Fest

Here's the big surprise: we made a brand-new New York-themed collection that debuts at Stationery Fest. The Fest crowd gets first pick — some of these pieces will follow online afterward, but a few are NYC-only.

The full lineup:

  • NYC Washi Tape — a fresh washi tape design featuring RiN's original New York illustrations: the Statue of Liberty in cat-eye sunglasses, the Brooklyn Bridge, yellow taxis and the Chrysler Building skyline.
  • NYC Sticker Sheet — a single-sheet sticker collection with our full NYC cast in one peel-friendly format, perfect for journal pages and planner spreads.
  • NYC Die-Cut Stickers — individual kawaii die-cuts: Big Apple, the Statue of Liberty, "I ❤ NY" mug, NYC hot dog, the Brooklyn Bridge and the subway sign — sized for laptops, water bottles, and journal covers.
  • NYC Pin — our first-ever enamel pin, with a New York-only design. We've wanted to make a pin forever, and NYC felt like the right moment.
  • NYC Stamps — clear acrylic stamps featuring tiny New York icons, in the same Kitta format as our recent King Jim × Kitta collaboration.

Every design is original artwork by RiN — drawn in Shanghai, made for New York.

How to Find Us

Industry City is a converted industrial complex in Brooklyn's Sunset Park neighborhood, right by the waterfront. The full address is 220 36th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232. By subway, the easiest route is the D, N, or R train to 36th Street station, then a 10-minute walk west toward the water. If you're coming from Manhattan, plan about 35 minutes door-to-door.

Once you're inside, look for the orange-haired girl. She'll be everywhere.

Come Say Hi

This is the first time our team will get to meet RiN! Studio's US customers in real life. If you've ordered from us before — please come by. Bring whatever you've made with our washi tape, share your spreads, tell us what you love and what we should make next. We've been hearing from you online for years and we can't wait to actually hug some of you.

If you're new to RiN! Studio, this is the easiest way to see (and touch!) everything we make. Washi tape feels different in person, and you can flip through every notebook, journal, and Kitta booklet before deciding what to take home.

We're bringing:

  • The full NYC collection (debut)
  • Our complete current lineup — washi tape, stickers, notebooks, stamps
  • The recent King Jim × Kitta collaboration
  • A few small giveaways for the first visitors of each day
